BANKNOTE MONEY 10
Build knowledge before a collection.
Organising a collection preserves the relationship between each specimen, its description and its records.
Project in preparation. Services are not yet available for contracting. Requests and certificate issuance are disabled.
Do not send physical specimens before the service opens and you receive specific acceptance and dispatch instructions.
A record for each specimen
Keep a specimen reference, images and consulted sources. Distinguish reported acquisition, available documentation and research hypotheses. Do not equate mintage or graded population automatically with the surviving number.
Care before intervention
Preserve the present condition and seek appropriate advice before attempting to improve appearance. Cleaning, washing, pressing and repairs are not household ways to raise a grade. Document known interventions and avoid unqualified storage materials or conditions.
